As it turned out I had a bone fracture. Doctor asked to avoid running for at least six weeks. I did and tried to run on October 1st. I did 3.6 miles in the morning. It was nice, quiet, cold and dark. My previous run in August was at high nineties degrees temperature. Now it was low forties
Unfortunately I still felt the pain in the leg. It means at least two more weeks off the running. Not happy about it at all. I used to heal pretty fast from anything. Not anymore I guess.
